The platform Bybit has restored full access to its services in India, once again emphasizing compliance with local regulatory norms and the development of the crypto ecosystem.
Restoration of Access and Compliance
The Bybit website is returning to operations and is expected to be fully available within the next three to four days. Earlier this year, Bybit registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit-India as a reporting entity, complying with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. This allows Bybit to offer services such as spot trading, derivatives, and copy trading to Indian customers under strict KYC procedures and enhanced security protocols.
Expanding Presence and Community Engagement
Bybit is actively building its presence in India. Vikas Gupta, Country Manager of Bybit India, emphasizes that the company aims not only to facilitate trading but also to support the local crypto ecosystem through educational programs, strategic partnerships, and community-led initiatives. Bybit has become the Title Sponsor of the India Blockchain Tour 2025, which began in Hyderabad.
New Initiatives and User Rewards
Bybit is also launching the World Series of Trading 2025, offering new users welcome bonuses and prizes, including cars and iPhones. This reflects a broader trend among global exchanges investing heavily in emerging markets, recognizing the growing retail interest in crypto.
Bybit's restoration of operations and emphasis on regulatory compliance underline the importance of the Indian market for the company. Bybit is not only resuming functionality but also actively supporting the development of the crypto ecosystem in the country.
