Chirp network has launched its token on several leading crypto exchanges, strengthening its position in the Sui ecosystem.

Launch of the $CHIRP Token

Today, January 20, Chirp launched its $CHIRP token on exchanges KuCoin, Gate.io, and MEXC. The decision followed a successful IDO for the Sui DePIN, supporting the operation and creation of decentralized physical infrastructure networks on the Sui blockchain.

After over two years of building, I’m incredibly proud to finally launch Chirp on Sui mainnet. We chose Sui as the home for our DePIN even before it went live on testnet, and now this ecosystem has grown into one of the most promising Layer 1 blockchains in the entire crypto space.Tim Kravchunovsky, CEO and founder of Chirp

Token's Role in the Ecosystem

$CHIRP token plays a key role in the Chirp ecosystem. It incentivizes the operators of ‘Blackbird’ antennas to maintain their devices and network. $CHIRP is also used as a payment for network usage and acts as a governance token within Chirp.

Innovative Projects and Achievements

$CHIRP tokens are also distributed as rewards in the Kage game, the first-ever DePIN P2E game with real-world utility. Players scan wireless networks, collecting data to build a global geolocation database.

The launch of the $CHIRP token strengthens Chirp's position on the Sui blockchain and aids in solving global connectivity issues, supporting a community-driven ecosystem.
