Circle blacklists Lazarus Group addresses
Blockchain data shows Circle has blacklisted over $1.5 million worth of its USD Coin (USDC) from wallet addresses tied to the Lazarus Group. This action comes more than four months after competitors Tether, Paxos, and Techteryx took similar measures, blacklisting nearly $5 million in various stablecoins on the same addresses.
Ethereum Foundation researcher exits
Danny Ryan, one of the longstanding researchers at the Ethereum Foundation, has announced his departure. He cited personal reasons and a desire to explore new opportunities, emphasizing that his decision was not due to any issues with the Ethereum project. Ryan played a key role in Ethereum's transition to Proof-of-Stake in September 2022 and now plans to dedicate time to his family and personal projects.
