Crypto exchange Coinbase has announced the introduction of perpetual futures contracts for Render (RNDR), Saga (SAGA), and Threshold (T) on its International Exchange and Coinbase Advanced platforms.
Launch of Perpetual Futures
Coinbase is extending its offering with perpetual futures contracts for Render, Saga, and Threshold. These contracts will be listed on both the International Exchange and Advanced platforms. Trading for the new RENDER-PERP, SAGA-PERP, and T-PERP pairs will commence on or after 9:30 AM UTC on August 29, 2024.
EURC Conversion and Polygon Support
Furthermore, the exchange announced the addition of a 1:1 conversion service from euros to the euro-pegged stablecoin EURC. This service will be available on Coinbase Advanced starting August 28, 2024, with no fees involved. This aligns with the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulations set by the European Union.
Price Trends for RNDR, SAGA, & T
Following the announcement, Render (RNDR) surged to an intra-week high of $5.06, with its market capitalization and 24-hour trading volume rising by 8% and 137% respectively, reaching $1.95B and $64.65M. Currently, RENDER is priced at $4.98. SAGA's price also increased, reaching $1.27. Threshold (T) fluctuated between $0.02361 and $0.02281, with a market cap of $229.49M.
