New Collaboration for Nature Conservation
Sovereign Nature Initiative (SNI), in partnership with Unique Network and WalletConnect, has launched the innovative DOTphin NFT project on the Polkadot blockchain. Attendees of Token 2049 can collect Proof of Presence (PoP) and embark on their journey with evolving DOTphin avatars, which contribute to marine conservation efforts through user interaction.
How DOTphin Works
By participating in the DOTphin experience, Token 2049 attendees can collect PoPs, unlocking stages in the avatar’s evolution which are influenced by ecological data from SNI’s marine conservation partner, Aquasearch. This fusion of blockchain and ecological impact allows users to engage with cutting-edge technology while playing a role in preserving marine life.
Creating and Evolving DOTphin Avatars
To claim PoPs or other Proofs, users can visit the SNI website or scan QR codes encountered at events. After collecting PoPs, the next step is evolving the DOTphin by visiting the REAL Evolution page on the REAL portal and using the same credentials. The evolution begins with the acquisition of the primordial 'orbo'. Other collected PoPs and Proofs are also utilized to further develop DOTphin, making it a personalized digital avatar influenced by the selected Proofs.
