Crypto.com has announced a new airdrop campaign with a prize pool of $250,000 in Shiba Inu (SHIB) available for users staking CRO in the Airdrop Arena.
How It Works
Participants who stake CRO will earn points, and the more they stake, the higher their ranking. At the end of the event, top-ranking users will split the $250,000 SHIB pool.
Early birds benefit from a 120% point boost for the first 10,000 users who allocate CRO to the campaign. Another 120% boost is available for anyone locking at least 1,500 CRO.
Why It Matters
Crypto.com has supported the Shiba Inu ecosystem for years. SHIB was listed back in May 2021, and Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) was added in March 2023. The exchange also holds a significant amount of SHIB in reserve, which distinguishes it from other platforms.
CEO Kris Marszalek has praised the Shiba Army community, which has helped boost visibility and demand around the listings.
What to Expect from JUL-AI
While Crypto.com handles the rewards, the Shiba Inu team is focused on upcoming developments. Project lead Shytoshi Kusama has renamed July as 'JUL-AI', hinting at the ecosystem's preparation for a wave of AI-powered innovations.
Kusama suggested that a whitepaper release and a new partnership with AI gaming platform TokenPlayAI are on the horizon. He mentioned a 12-day pause in June related to geopolitical tensions before declaring that it’s time for JUL-AI to begin.
July is set to be a busy month for both Crypto.com and Shiba Inu, featuring new rewards and technological directions.
