Crypto.com expands its services beyond cryptocurrency by adding stock and ETF trading options for some selected users in the United States.

Zero-commission Trades and Bonus Offering

Crypto.com now offers zero-commission trading of stocks and ETFs for users in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington, and Arizona. Users can also receive a 3% bonus for securities transfers through the Crypto.com App. This promotion is temporary, and the bonus may be reduced or eliminated after the promotional period ends. Users in these regions can also access fractional shares, providing more investment flexibility.

Lawsuit Against SEC Withdrawn

In October, Crypto.com filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), claiming certain business dealings as investment contracts. However, following a meeting between Crypto.com's CEO Kris Marszalek and President-elect Donald Trump, the company decided to withdraw the lawsuit. The incoming U.S. administration plans to implement more crypto-friendly policies.

Other Crypto.com Initiatives

In addition to these new stock and ETF trading options, Crypto.com recently introduced an innovative sports prediction platform for U.S. customers. The platform offers simple yes/no decisions on sports events with potential $100 rewards for each correct prediction. Crypto.com also signed a multi-year partnership with the UEFA Champions League and launched the Cronos (CRO) project, aimed at democratizing smart contracts.

Crypto.com's latest initiatives demonstrate the company's ambition to integrate traditional financial tools with cryptocurrency, expanding its services and attracting new users.
