Senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, Erik Balchunas, reported that in July 2025, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs raised an unprecedented $12.8 billion. This is the best month since their launch, with daily inflows averaging around $600 million, which is double the average.
Outflows from Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs
According to analysts, despite significant inflows into Bitcoin and Ethereum funds, there were notable outflows. BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF harvested 295 BTC worth $34.83 million, while Fidelity's ETF experienced a withdrawal of 5,991 ETH, raising net outflows to -613 ETH. As a result, the net flows amounted to only 9 BTC.

Crypto ETFs overall have shown better performance compared to various traditional financial assets. For example, the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF could not achieve similar success.
