Cryptocurrency investment products ended last week with positive results, marking 15 consecutive weeks of inflows.
Record inflows
The total inflow to global crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) amounted to $1.9 billion during the week ending July 25, according to a report from CoinShares. Year-to-date inflows reached $29.5 billion, with assets under management exceeding $221.4 billion for the first time.
Impact of Ether on the market
The majority of last week's inflows were attributed to Ether investment products, which saw $1.59 billion in inflows, marking the second-largest weekly inflow for Ether ETPs. Solana and XRP also showed positive trends.
Differences in cash flows between Bitcoin and altcoins
Despite overall growth, Bitcoin ETPs experienced minor outflows of $175 million, ending a 12-day inflow streak. According to CoinShares' James Butterfill, the divergence in flows between Bitcoin and altcoins may be linked to anticipated altcoin ETF launches.
Despite current market fluctuations, the overall inflow into cryptocurrency investment products remains high, indicating sustained interest from investors.
