Donald Trump's inauguration attracted the attention of the cryptocurrency community due to significant purchases made by Trump's World Liberty.

BTC and ETH Purchases

On the day of Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th President of the United States, it was revealed that his organization, Trump's World Liberty, purchased $47 million worth of Bitcoin and an equal amount of Ethereum. This was confirmed by Arkham and MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor.

Trump's Recent Crypto Purchases

In addition to the major BTC and ETH purchases, Trump's World Liberty also acquired 177,928 LINK worth $4.7 million, 19.3 million TRX, 13,261 AAVE, and 507,000 ENA. These acquisitions emphasize the new president's pro-crypto stance.

Current Cryptocurrency Market Situation

Despite these large purchases, the cryptocurrency market is currently experiencing a downturn. Bitcoin is trading around $103,210, marking a 1.80% drop in the past 24 hours. Ethereum has also decreased by 2.25%, reaching $3,350. This is attributed to profit booking, while some major investors are taking advantage of the current situation for multi-million-dollar crypto acquisitions.

Trump's World Liberty's investments underscore the new Trump administration's active interest in cryptocurrencies, despite the current market fluctuations.
