  2. NEAR (NEAR) +997%
  3. Injective (INJ) +261%

  4. CryptoRank.io, a leading crypto industry research and analytics platform, compiled a top 10 blockchains by yearly transaction growth.

    TON (TON) +2,492%

TON ranks first with 241 million transactions in one year, showing a 2,492% growth compared to the previous year. According to official documentation, the TON blockchain is designed as a distributed supercomputer or 'superserver', intended to provide various products and services to aid in the development of a decentralized internet. In 2024, TON achieved several milestones despite encountering some issues, and recently hit a new record of 1.2 million daily active users.

    NEAR (NEAR) +997%

NEAR ranks second with 1.8 billion transactions in one year, reporting a 997% increase YoY. NEAR is a decentralized development platform using a PoS consensus mechanism. According to platform data, NEAR is designed for an open and secure web, aiming for chain abstraction, which allows users and developers to engage with multiple ecosystems through one account. The NEAR team recently announced the completion of the RWA integration.

    Injective (INJ) +261%

Injective recorded 644 million transactions in one year, seeing a 261% YoY growth. According to the team, Injective is the fastest blockchain for finance and is backed by Binance and Mark Cuban. Recently, the team introduced the first-ever tokenized index for BlackRock’s BUIDL Fund and a new product — a perpetual index tracking the fund's supply.

To build the top 10, CryptoRank considered only blockchains with active mainnet transactions as of September 12, 2022. They analyzed transactions from September 2023 to September 2024, subtracting the total from September 2022 to September 2023. Using these figures, they calculated the annual percentage growth for each blockchain.
