The World of DARKTIMES
DARKTIMES is a multiplayer brawler with RPG elements and dark humor. The game features multiple maps, each with its unique lore. Players can choose one of five characters in the first season to develop their skills and equipment. Each game session begins with choosing a league, ranging from beginner to Immortal League.
Integrating Sui
DARKTIMES leverages the capabilities of the Sui blockchain to host digital assets, including the $TIMES token, Genesis NFTs, and cosmetic items. The $TIMES token will serve as in-game currency, while NFTs will allow players to customize and trade their character appearances. Sui's high-performance network ensures subsecond item exchanges, similar to those in standard video games.
Release and Future Plans
DARKTIMES will launch a 20-day social engagement campaign called Rune Run on August 30, 2024, with alpha testing planned for November. Players can participate in testing during Korea Blockchain Week and collect Genesis NFTs. The player community will meet on Discord, with updates available through the game's social media accounts.
DARKTIMES will be one of the first games to combine engaging gameplay with new features enabled by the Sui blockchain.
