In a recent tweet, David Schwartz, the CTO of Ripple, shared his thoughts on useful improvements for the XRP Ledger network, including ideas for creating a high-quality hub.

David Schwartz's Ideas for XRPL Improvement

David Schwartz expressed that the most useful addition to the XRP Ledger network could be a high-quality hub with reserved slots for UNL validators, other hubs, and servers running applications on XRPL. He noted that although he has not managed XRPL infrastructure in recent years, he now sees a unique opportunity to contribute.

Technical Details of the New Server

Schwartz outlined a plan to deploy a server with specifications including an AMD 9950X CPU, 256GB of RAM, a 2TB SATA SSD for booting, and two 2TB NVME SSDs configured in RAID 0 for NuDB. The server will run Ubuntu LTE and be housed in a data center in NYC. He also highlighted the initiative as his own project, with no official connection to Ripple.

Recent Achievements of XRP Ledger

According to updates from the crypto data platform Dune, XRP Ledger recorded 70 million new transactions last month, bringing the total to 3.83 billion. Last week alone, 13.5 million transactions were added, with an average daily transaction count of 1.8 million.

Overall, David Schwartz's ideas for creating a new hub and high-performance server may significantly impact the development of XRP Ledger, contributing to its evolution as a global stablecoin settlement layer.
