DeltaPrime, a DeFi protocol, has suffered significant losses due to a hack. The team is demanding negotiations with the attacker to recover the stolen funds.

DeltaPrime's Ultimatum

On November 13, DeltaPrime's co-founder, Gavin Hasselbaink, stated that legal action would ensue if the hacker fails to engage. Hasselbaink emphasized that they are ready to intensify efforts to identify the attacker.

We have several leads on your true identity, and eventually, we will be forced to pursue these in order to recover the user funds.

Message to the Hacker

Following the attack, DeltaPrime sent an on-chain message to the hacker, requesting negotiations for the return of the stolen funds. However, according to Hasselbaink, the attacker either overlooked the message or chose to delay their response.

DeltaPrime's Attack History

This recent attack marks the second time DeltaPrime has been targeted by hackers. In September, the protocol lost $6 million due to a key leak. Such repeated breaches raise concerns about the security of DeFi protocols.

Such incidents highlight the need for enhanced security measures in DeFi protocols. DeltaPrime remains committed to recovering the funds and preventing future attacks.
