DOGE and SHIB Struggle as Investors Shift to Utility Tokens

Amidst a general downturn in the crypto market, there is a noticeable shift as investors move away from meme tokens towards projects that offer real utility. Meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu are facing challenges in gaining investor attention.

DOGE and SHIB Losing Strength in Market

As of now, the price of Dogecoin stands at $0.2369, having dropped by 0.31% over the last 24 hours. Despite its loyal community, the coin's strength appears to be waning, even as its 24-hour trading volume surged by 66.13% to $2.64 billion. Its market capitalization is $35.58 billion, making it one of the top meme coins, but without new uses, its future seems uncertain.

Meanwhile, Shiba Inu (SHIB) is priced at $0.00001371, down by 1.94%, with a market cap of $8.08 billion. The 64.88% increase in trading volume ($241.82 million) indicates volatility but not necessarily strength in an upward trend. Both tokens face the challenge of establishing value outside of internet culture and speculation.

Remittix Announces Beta Wallet

Remittix (RTX), priced at $0.0876, recently launched its Beta Wallet in Q3 2025. This milestone allows users to directly transfer cryptocurrency to bank accounts in over 30 countries. The team has already raised over $17.6 million, selling more than 572 million RTX tokens, as it continues to move toward its $18 million soft cap. The wallet will support Ethereum and Solana initially, with full fiat integration expected to follow.

Shift Towards Utility Tokens

With the meme coin frenzy slowing down, investors are increasingly looking toward tokens that offer actual utility. Remittix is targeting the $190 trillion global payments market, aiming to make remittances easier, faster, and lower-cost for freelancers, remote workers, and international businesses. Rather than relying on hype, Remittix is laying the infrastructure first, paving the way for widespread crypto adoption.

In light of the diminishing interest in meme tokens, projects like Remittix underline the significance of a utility-driven approach in the crypto space. Investors are progressively seeking opportunities that provide real solutions, signaling a transition towards more serious and applicable crypto assets.
