The Sovereign Nature Initiative (SNI) has partnered with Unique Network and WalletConnect to launch the innovative Polkadot-based NFT project, DOTphin. Token 2049 attendees are invited to visit the Polkadot booth (Booth #P34 and 42, level 5 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center) to begin their journey with DOTphin avatars, which evolve through user interaction and contribute to marine conservation efforts.

Process of Collecting and Evolving DOTphin

Token 2049 attendees can collect Proof of Presence (PoP) to unlock stages in the evolution of the DOTphin avatar. This process is influenced by ecological data from SNI’s marine conservation partner, Aquasearch. To claim PoP, attendees should visit the SNI website or scan QR codes at the event, create an account, and follow the instructions. Once PoP is collected, the next step is evolving the DOTphin, starting with the primordial ‘orbo,’ which is the initial stage of the avatar’s development.

DOTphin avatars are created in a Japanese anime style, fostering a strong visual connection with the audience and emphasizing the importance of caring for the evolving avatar. The artistic direction is led by Daria Smakhtina from Ephemera One.
