On September 16, 2024, the investor started selling some of their tokens, beginning with 350 ETH for $2,340 each, resulting in an initial profit of $819,000 — over ten times the initial investment. After selling some of the tokens, the trader still holds almost $38 million worth of Ethereum, demonstrating the potential for large gains with a long-term buy-and-hold strategy.
Complex Strategies in the Cryptocurrency Market
In 2020, a trader leveraged the fractionalization of NFTs to acquire the rare CryptoPunk #2386, valued at $1.5 million, for just 10 ETH ($23,000).
