Renowned entrepreneur Elon Musk recently addressed CNBC's publication alleging his directives to Nvidia for prioritizing AI chip deliveries from Tesla to his social media entity, X.

Citing documents from Nvidia on June 4th, the report disclosed Musk's transfer of 12,000 Nvidia H100 chips to X from Tesla. Musk rapidly rebuffed these claims on social platforms, negating urgent chip necessity by Tesla and unveiling plans for a substantial H100 deployment in the nearing Giga Texas extension for FSD training.

The CNBC report led to an early 1% dip in Tesla shares, escalating tensions between Musk and select Tesla investors wary of conflict of interest and operational efficiency concerning Musk's multitude of high-profile commitments. His broad business spectrum encompasses Neuralink, xAI, SpaceX, and X.

A key player in AI and brain-machine interface domains, Musk's ventures like XAI and Neuralink rival behemoths such as OpenAI and Google. Notably, X introduced the Grok chatbot to combat OpenAI's ChatGPT in 2023, now accessible to all premium users.

Furthermore, FDA approval granted Neuralink to conduct human trials in 2023, culminating in the successful implantation of a brain-computer interface in a test subject in February.
