Mar 28, 2024

The Ethereum network now boasts one million validators, with a total of 32 million Ether at stake, valued at approximately $114 billion based on current market prices. Validators are responsible for upholding the security of the blockchain by monitoring transactions for any signs of malicious activity, such as double spending.

Ethereum validators participate in proposing and verifying transactions within the network, requiring a deposit of 32 ETH to take part in this process. As an incentive, validators receive a small amount of ETH as a reward for their efforts.

A recent update from the Dune Analytics dashboard unveiled that Ethereum had reached one million validators on March 28th, with 32 million ETH bets contributing to 26% of the total betting volume. For further insights, visit HODL.FM.
