Famasi Africa, a leading pharmacy platform in Nigeria, has announced the launch of CareCapital For Women, aimed at supporting female pharmacy owners.

Goals and Objectives of the Program

The CareCapital For Women program is designed to equip women entrepreneurs with essential business skills, access to capital, and funding to grow their pharmacies. Given that approximately 83% of pharmacies in Nigeria lack institutional financing, such initiatives are particularly relevant.

Support and Training for Participants

Under this program, Famasi will support 50 selected pharmacies, providing training in supply chain best practices, data analytics, and access to financing. The program also guides participants in securing the right financing.

Final Stages of the Program

At the end of the program, the top 6 participants will receive a grant of NGN 10 million, along with diagnostic and telemedicine tools to enhance customer satisfaction. Applications for participation close on August 1, 2025, and the program will commence on August 17, 2025.

The CareCapital For Women program by Famasi aims to empower and strengthen the positions of women entrepreneurs in the pharmacy business in Nigeria by providing necessary resources and support.
