The creator of Fantom, Andre Cronje, expressed his support for the Solana network despite the recent problems it has faced. Cronje, who is recognized as a key figure in decentralized finance (DeFi), believes that the challenges experienced by Solana are a result of its rapid growth and increased demand for block space, rather than flaws in its consensus mechanism. Data from Dune Analytics showed that around 75% of non-vote transactions failed on April 4 as a consequence of the surge in activity due to the popularity of memecoins on Solana.
