FILLiquid, the new $FIL borrowing and lending platform, is getting ready for its last testnet phase, offering another opportunity to join the free testing and receive a $FIG airdrop when the token launches its mainnet soon.

The team has confirmed that 3 million $FIG tokens will be distributed in the upcoming airdrop, serving as an incentive for engaging in the testing process. Users need to direct their wallets to the Filecoin Calibration testnet, load them with free testnet tokens, and begin testing FILLiquid's four products.

The first phase of the FILLiquid testnet attracted over 10,000 wallets, which ended successfully on March 18th. After the $FIG launch on the mainnet, wallets recorded in the March 18th snapshot will acquire a free airdrop distribution.

During the initial testnet, users tested three DeFi products provided by FILLiquid: $FIL Staking (lending), $FIL Borrowing, and $FIG Farming. The platform enables $FIL holders to earn passive income via lending, allows Storage Providers to secure $FIL loans, and permits users to farm $FIG tokens.

The data collected from testnet phase one has been analyzed by FILLiquid to enhance its protocol and bring it up to date with the DeFi sector. Several modifications have been made for testnet phase two.

In the second phase of the testnet, FILLiquid has introduced new features, enhanced $FIG emissions, and improved user experience. $FIG Staking is a new addition that offers revenue-sharing, $FIG burning, and marketing funding. The $FIG emissions have been adjusted to reward users with $FIG every thirty seconds instead of distributing the entire amount upfront.
