The Gifto project, once a successful metaverse initiative, faces challenges such as delisting from major exchanges and an increase in GFT token supply, raising doubts about its future prospects.

Project History and Current State

Gifto was among the first projects launched on Binance Launchpad, promising unique Web3 services. However, years later, many promises, such as staking and a native stablecoin, remain unfulfilled. The death of founder Andy Tian in 2023 also impacted the project's direction.

Issuing Additional GFT Tokens

Ahead of its delisting from Binance, the Gifto team issued an additional 1.2 billion GFT tokens, doubling their supply in circulation. This led to a price drop from $0.012 to $0.006. Such actions sparked community criticism for potential devaluation.

Community Reaction and Future Prospects

The Gifto community remains skeptical about the project's return to prominence, especially given its failure to create compelling Web3 and NFT offerings. Concerns arise that additional token issuance might lead to fraudulent activities.

The increased token issuance and delisting from major exchanges cast doubt on Gifto's future. The project needs to regain user trust and show tangible achievements to remain relevant in the market.
