HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd has announced a significant achievement in its Bitcoin mining operations, reaching a hashrate of 14 EH/s and forecasting further growth.
Achievement of 14 EH/s in Bitcoin Mining
HIVE Digital Technologies, operating in Canada, Sweden, and Paraguay, has announced a new milestone of 14 EH/s Bitcoin mining hashrate. The annual revenue from mining currently stands at $315 million, with a margin of approximately 55% after electricity costs. The company aims to reach 18 EH/s by the end of summer and 25 EH/s by U.S. Thanksgiving.
Increase in Bitcoin Production in Paraguay
HIVE’s three-campus buildout in Paraguay is ongoing: Phase 2 at the Yguazú site is now over 60% complete, with 4 EH/s of next-generation miners already operational. This has increased daily Bitcoin production to over 7 BTC, up from 4 BTC earlier this year. Full deployment of Phase 2 is expected to deliver daily production of 12 BTC by year-end.
Macroeconomic Trends and Expectations
HIVE Digital Technologies' strategy aligns with several macroeconomic trends, including the rise of stablecoin use and favorable regulation in the U.S. The recent passage of the Genius Act in Washington has legitimized Bitcoin and stablecoins as core financial infrastructure, aligning with the company’s vision of decentralized, energy-efficient systems.
HIVE Digital Technologies is on track to meet its ambitious Bitcoin mining goals, as evidenced by successful project execution and positive dynamics in the digital asset market.
