Nigeria, as one of Africa's fastest-growing digital economies, holds vast potential for AI adoption and innovation. Roc Bai, Vice President of Huawei Cloud Sub-Saharan Africa, noted that the country has a youthful, rapidly growing tech ecosystem, especially in fintech and e-commerce, providing rich scenarios and demand for AI applications.
Huawei Cloud's AI Initiatives
Huawei Cloud showcased its latest AI products and capabilities aimed at empowering local enterprises and accelerating Nigeria’s digital transformation. The launch of the hyperscale cloud last December was a significant milestone for data protection goals in Nigeria, aligning with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission's requirements.
Hands-on Participation at the Forum
The forum included hands-on sessions on how to build AI agents, which garnered significant interest from participants. Guided by Huawei Cloud experts, attendees completed the full process of creating an AI agent within 40 minutes.
