Hi Ibiza in Spain has launched the first permanent art gallery inside a nightclub, featuring works from renowned digital artists.
Opening of the Club Gallery
The nightclub Hi Ibiza, voted the world's best for four consecutive years, opened its gallery this summer in collaboration with The Night League. The gallery combines digital and interactive installations using specialized display technology.
Featured Artists and Their Works
The gallery presents a curated selection of works from prominent digital artists including Beeple and Mad Dog Jones. "From cinematic design to surreal architecture and cyberpunk storytelling, the gallery showcases today's most influential digital artists," said the organizers. Additionally, works from British graphic designer KidEight and British street artist Mr Cenz, who created a mural at the club's entrance, are featured.
The Future of Digital Art in Clubs
Organizers expect the lineup in the gallery to rotate every two weeks, with W1 Curates designing the space. The gallery will host talks featuring notable personalities like Smashtoshi and Trevor Jones, fostering discussions around digital art. Despite a downturn in NFT interest in recent years, the event aims to draw attention to the presence of digital art in physical spaces.
The launch of the club art gallery in Spain illustrates the growing interest in integrating digital art into club culture, creating new opportunities for engagement with art.
