Microsoft is encouraging users to upgrade to Windows 11 by adding innovative features. Windows 10 is nearing the end of support, prompting the upgrade.

New Features in Windows 11

Microsoft has introduced a new AI-powered search feature in Windows 11, which significantly simplifies the search for files and documents. This feature will be especially helpful for users who prefer not to remember file names or locations.

You no longer need to remember file names and document locations, said Yusuf Mehdi, the vice president and consumer chief marketing officer at Microsoft. Windows will better understand your intent and match the right document, image, file, or email.

How AI Search Works

The search experience in the new Windows 11 is similar to 'Search with Google Lens,' allowing users to find products online using images. Users will be able to locate images, documents, videos, and more using simple text-based queries. Searches can be made in both local storage and OneDrive.

Requirements and Feature Availability

This cutting-edge functionality will be exclusive to Copilot + branded PCs equipped with Qualcomm, Intel, or AMD processors with dedicated neural processing units (NPUs). The feature will first be available to the Windows Insider community before being released to the general public.

The implementation of AI-powered search in Windows 11 illustrates Microsoft’s commitment to enhancing user experience by integrating new technologically advanced features into its operating system.
