Layer 1 blockchain Kaia has announced its mainnet launch and the Kaia Wave builder support program, developed in collaboration with LINE NEXT, to accelerate consumer adoption of web3 services.

Mainnet Launch Announcement

Kaia announced that the mainnet will go live on August 29 as the world's fastest EVM blockchain with one-second finality, ultra-low gas fees, and support from major Asian web3 partners, including Kakao and LINE NEXT. Kaia aims to solve web3's UX and distribution challenges through deep integration with popular Asian messengers, allowing for a thriving ecosystem of DeFi, gaming, RWAs, and messenger apps on scalable web3 infrastructure.

Kaia Wave Builder Support

The Kaia Wave builder support program offers up to $1.2M worth of marketing, tech, and business support per eligible team. It includes grants for builders leveraging the NEXT WEB SDK, liquidity support, and follow-up VC connections.

Creating a Web3 Ecosystem

Kaia provides developers with a platform to create original dapps accessible to millions of users. In South Korea, the Klaytn blockchain is already used for loyalty programs and medical certificates, while Finschia supports the digital commerce platform DOSI. The merging of these blockchains will ensure strong adoption from day one as projects like DOSI migrate to Kaia.

The launch of the Kaia mainnet opens new opportunities for mass adoption of web3 services, starting from Asia and reaching millions of users through integration with popular Asian messengers.
