Layer 1 blockchain Kaia has announced the launch of its mainnet along with the Kaia Wave builder support program, developed with LINE NEXT, to promote consumer adoption of web3 services.
Kaia Mainnet Launch
On August 29, Kaia is launching its mainnet as the fastest EVM blockchain in the world with one-second finality and very low gas fees. The launch is supported by leading Asian web3 partners, including Kakao and LINE NEXT, which is dedicated to advancing the Web3 ecosystem.
Messenger Integration
Kaia aims to address web3’s UX and distribution challenges through integration with top Asian messengers. This will enable a flourishing ecosystem of web3-powered DeFi, gaming, RWAs, and messaging applications. Developers will be able to integrate native applications Telegram-style using the NEXT WEB SDK package and other tools.
Partnerships and Support
The Kaia Wave builder support program, developed by Kaia and LINE NEXT, will provide up to $1.2M in marketing, tech, and business support. Teams will also benefit from VC connections and liquidity assistance. Kaia’s blockchain technology is already widely used in South Korea for various consumer-facing applications.
With 250 million users from LINE and Kakaotalk, the Kaia mainnet will start with a vast user base. Kaia offers developers access to a ready-made market through integration with two of the most popular messengers in Asia, enabling them to create original dapps for millions of users.
