On March 28th, the main benchmark of the Web3 metaverse, known as ‘Carrieverse’, achieved a global launch and revealed a significant milestone. Carrieverse Co., Ltd. announced on April 1st that they had reached 100,000 Daily Active Users (DAU) across the community.

Following its global launch, Carrieverse saw an increase in DAU to over 150,000 which was maintained above 100,000 until Sunday. The main user base for Carrieverse is located in Thailand, the Philippines, and South America. On March 28th, Vietnam and Indonesia were added to the mix, ranking 3rd and 2nd in new game popularity respectively. The gross sales of Carrieverse also saw an increase, ranking 16th in all games and 4th in casual games in Thailand, as well as 15th in all games and 4th in casual games in the Philippines.

Within the global metaverse, Carrieverse reached the Top 100 Casual ranks in 86 countries worldwide, showing potential to become a strong K-game. All rankings are based on data from the Google Play Store.

A significant portion of Carrieverse users are blockchain users. Since its global launch on March 28th, Carrieverse has ranked at the top of the global blockchain game ranking site, Play2Earn.net, and remained in the top 2 until Sunday.

The CEO of Carrieverse, David Yoon, expressed that Korean games are becoming recognized as a global powerhouse in Web3, following the success of Web2. Carrieverse aims to contribute to this movement and become a project that represents Korea in the global Web3 gaming market.

Carrieverse has hinted at a major IP collaboration through its community channels, suggesting that the future roadmap includes a transformation into a metaverse based on various IPs using the existing DAUs.
