Roam, a pioneer in decentralized wireless networks, has launched Pilot "Burning" Pools, providing users the opportunity to experience the "burning" process before the Token Generation Event (TGE).

Overview of Pilot "Burning" Pools

The Pilot "Burning" Pools in the Roam app enable users to convert their Roam Points into $ROAM tokens. There are three types of pools: General, for all users; Miner, for miner owners; and Sticker, for sticker collectors. Each caters to different participant categories.

Token Conversion Process

Conversion occurs in cycles, each lasting 1000 seconds. Users can choose between 10 and 1000 cycles, over which their Roam Points remain locked. $ROAM tokens are calculated based on the total tokens released in a cycle and the Roam Points converted in that cycle.

Participation in Pilot "Burning" Pools

To participate, users must register in the Roam app, collect Roam Points through various activities, and select a pool. A minimum of 500 Roam Points is required, which must be locked for 48 hours. The process is irreversible and concludes after the TGE.

Roam's introduction of Pilot "Burning" Pools allows users to evaluate the mechanism for converting Roam Points into $ROAM tokens while engaging in the Roam ecosystem.
