Lava Network has unveiled its Smart Router aimed at supporting Fireblocks in launching the Wyoming state-sponsored stablecoin. This solution is set to enhance reliability and multi-chain capabilities for institutional blockchain payments.
Smart Router for Stablecoins
The Smart Router, built on Lava’s RPC (Remote Procedure Call) engine, offers an end-to-end solution to strengthen blockchain connectivity. It provides enterprises with a unified access layer, ensuring critical uptime and embedded failover mechanisms.
Infrastructure for Stablecoin Payments
Fireblocks, processing $200 billion monthly in stablecoin transactions, accounting for 15% of global volume, will integrate the Smart Router to ensure stability and resilience across its infrastructure. The growing significance of stablecoins is critical in the tokenization of real-world assets.
Demand for Reliability and Compliance
Executives from both companies highlight the collaboration's significance for institutional clients. Yair Cleper, co-founder of Magma Dev, stated that the RPC framework offers "resilient and regulation-ready infrastructure" for stablecoins. Pavel Berengoltz, Fireblocks’ co-founder and CTO, noted that integrating Lava’s Smart Router aligns with the company's mission of creating a secure and scalable settlement network.
The launch of Lava Network's Smart Router underscores the drive towards standardizing blockchain access and accelerating adoption at the institutional level.
