A legal battle is currently taking place in the Southern District of New York between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Terraform Labs, led by Do Kwon. The case involves allegations of misleading investors and misrepresentations. This ongoing trial, according to a tweet by Zack Guzmán, founder at Coinage, has now reached its third day, marked by significant revelations and a judge growing impatient with the trial’s progress.
The recent developments include Aaron Myung, a former Chief Product Officer at Chai, who has become a whistleblower for the SEC. Myung's testimony, which included recorded conversations with individuals like Daniel Shin and Gigi Kwon, has brought to light potential deceptions regarding Terra's blockchain technology. This evidence has reportedly made a strong impact on the jury, indicating a firm stance against Terraform Labs.
