According to on-chain data, the LeverFi protocol has minted approximately 13.7 billion new LEVER tokens. These events have grabbed the attention of the cryptocurrency community in light of Binance's recent announcement regarding the delisting of the token.
Minting of LEVER Tokens
LeverFi, formerly known as RAMP DEFI, has produced approximately 13.7 billion LEVER tokens. This follows the announcement that the total supply will increase from 35 billion to 55.7865 billion as part of the 'LeverAI' staking incentive program announced on May 15.
Transfers to Bybit Exchange
Some of the newly minted tokens have already been transferred to the cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, although the project team has not yet made any official statements regarding this matter. This event has caught the community's attention, especially given its coincidence with the delisting of the LEVER token on Binance scheduled for July 4.
Current Price of LEVER Token
Currently, the LEVER token is trading at $0.0003124, which is down 94.2% from its July 2022 high of $0.005333.
The minting of new LEVER tokens and related transfers to exchanges are raising questions and discussions within the crypto community, especially in light of the upcoming delisting on Binance.
