Mainsail's Major Achievements by End of 2024

As 2024 draws to a close, Mainsail has implemented numerous changes and improvements, advancing the project's alignment with EVM standards.

Overview of Changes

Since the last update, Mainsail has reached key milestones such as introducing RLP encoding for transactions, launching the Multipayment contract, adding a usernames system, and updating the consensus contract using the UUPS standard.

Technical Enhancements

Among the major technical updates are enhanced PostgreSQL database restoration, expanded API with new HTTP-API endpoints, and optimized bootstrap process. Furthermore, functionalities of the ETH JSON-RPC API have been improved.

Future Plans

In early 2025, a public testnet based on V3 is planned to include all the latest improvements and features such as ARK Vault and ARK Scan support. This will be a significant step forward for Mainsail.

Mainsail has successfully implemented several key updates by the end of 2024 while setting the groundwork for upcoming improvements and expansions into 2025.
