Several major companies, including Bitwise, Grayscale, and 21Shares, have filed applications for Dogecoin ETFs. The SEC is currently reviewing over 70 such applications.

List of Dogecoin ETFs Awaiting SEC Approval

Multiple companies have submitted applications for Dogecoin ETFs.

* **Bitwise Dogecoin spot ETF:** Application filed in January 2025 via Form 19b-4, with Coinbase Custody managing DOGE holdings and Bank of New York Mellon handling cash assets. The SEC acknowledged the application and delayed the decision, originally scheduled for June 15, 2025.

* **Grayscale Investment DOGE ETF:** Application filed in March 2025 via Form S-1. SEC publicly acknowledged the application and delayed the decision deadlines to November 2025.

* **Rex Shares Osprey DOGE ETF:** Application filed in January 2025. The SEC’s next major decision deadline for Rex Shares Osprey could be around October to December 2025.

* **21Shares Dogecoin ETF:** The company filed its registration statement on April 9, 2025, via Form S-1. The SEC officially acknowledged the filing in mid-May 2025, marking the start of the review process. The decision deadline is expected to be around January 9, 2026.

Reasons for SEC Delays on Dogecoin ETF Decisions

The SEC has repeatedly delayed decisions on several DOGE ETF applications, citing the need for thorough review.

> In June, the Commission said: > "Institution of proceedings does not indicate that the Commission has reached any conclusions with respect to any of the issues involved." > "Rather, the Commission seeks and encourages interested persons to provide comments on the proposed rule change," it added.

Impact of ETF Approval on Dogecoin's Price

Approval could significantly boost DOGE’s price by enabling institutional investment, akin to the effects of Bitcoin ETF approvals. Conversely, a rejection may lead to temporary price dips.

As the market anticipates the approval of Dogecoin ETFs, investors and analysts continue to closely monitor the SEC's decisions. The final decision on most applications is expected between October 2025 and January 2026.
