MANTRA has announced a $25 million buyback program for OM tokens as part of its strategy to recover from a significant market decline.
Buyback Announcement
MANTRA has revealed an additional allocation of $25 million for its first strategic buyback of OM tokens. This initiative comes on top of a $20 million investment from Inveniam for the development of the RWA blockchain in the UAE and the U.S.
Objectives and Mechanism
At current valuations, the first buyback tranche targets approximately 110 million OM tokens, representing roughly 10% of the circulating supply. The buyback program begins on August 27 and will be conducted transparently on major centralized exchanges.
Market and Forecasts
The buyback initiative has already positively impacted OM trading volumes, which surged over 200% in the past 24 hours. The current price of the token is $0.2305. However, short-term forecasts remain bearish as OM continues to trade below key moving averages.
The MANTRA token buyback program represents a significant step in restoring market confidence and may lead to price improvements for the OM token, although short-term outlook remains uncertain.
