Blockchain Week 2024, one of the most influential blockchain events in Asia, has officially announced that Mark Karpelès will be one of the key speakers at the KBW2024: IMPACT event.
Key Speakers of the Event
Mark Karpelès, former CEO of Mt. Gox and a pioneer in the blockchain sector since 2009, will join the list of notable speakers. In 2012, he became a founding member of the Bitcoin Foundation, and in 2023, he was appointed Minister of Technology for Joseon. Mark is also the Chief Technology Officer of EllipX, a cryptocurrency wallet and exchange. Besides Mark, Chris Dixon, a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz and author of 'Read Write Own: Building the Next Era of the Internet', will also be speaking at KBW2024.
Schedule and Venues
The centerpiece event, KBW2024: IMPACT, will be held from September 3 to 4 at Walkerhill Hotel & Resort in Seoul. The kickoff event featuring Chris Dixon will take place on September 1. Other key events, such as KBW2024: AI World, are scheduled for September 5 at Lotte Cinema, Lotte World Tower.

Now in its seventh year, KBW2024 will be co-hosted by FactBlock and Hashed. The organizers promise a packed program featuring over 300 speakers and various key events covering all aspects of the blockchain industry and Web3.
