Increase in Oil Prices
Oil prices continued to rise for a second consecutive day, driven by tightening U.S. supply. Brent crude was priced above $67 per barrel, rising 1.6% previously. Despite the recent uptick, prices remain down over 10% since the start of the year, and traders are assessing risks related to U.S. trade policies impacting global growth.
Markets continue to fluctuate while awaiting new guidance on U.S. interest rates and the dynamics of oil production and trade relations.
