Introduction
Mawari Network raised $10.8 million in a strategic funding round led by Anfield Ltd, Borderless Capital, and 1kx. The Solana-based DePIN project focuses on scaling spatial computing for the physical-digital worlds of AR, VR, and XR.
Funding Details
This investment will go toward further enhancements in the real-time delivery of 3D content for immersive experiences. Mawari's goal is to smoothen the process of spatial computing across industries for clients such as T-Mobile, Netflix, and BMW by bringing real-time, interactive 3D content to various devices, including smart glasses and headsets.
Future Plans
The round brings Mawari Network's total funding to $10.8 million. The company is a decentralized infrastructure on Solana for real-time 3D content delivery to extended reality devices. Mawari streamlines 3D content to an array of devices while minimizing latency by decentralizing its infrastructure. So far, it has worked with clients like T-Mobile and BMW. Mawari plans to add more decentralized nodes to its network in advance of the mainnet launch slated for next year, 2024.
Mawari Network has received significant financial backing to continue its efforts in spatial computing and delivering high-quality 3D content to various devices.
