Details of the Recent Bitcoin Purchase
Metaplanet added 463 BTC to its assets, buying each at an average price of $101,422. This is the first purchase the company has announced since July 28.
Previous Acquisitions and Metaplanet's Plans
The company acquired 3,782 BTC in July for $424 million. It is now the sixth-largest holder of Bitcoin with $1.96 billion in assets.
Strategy of CEO Simon Gerovich
CEO Simon Gerovich stated that Metaplanet aims to reach 100,000 Bitcoin by the end of 2026. He also noted that the company plans to use various tools to finance future Bitcoin purchases.
