Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy and a strong bitcoin advocate, has presented a new forecast claiming Bitcoin’s price could hit $21 million by 2046. This was announced during the BTC Prague 2025 conference.
Saylor's Ultra-Bullish Price Forecast
During the BTC Prague 2025 conference, Michael Saylor stated that Bitcoin might reach $21 million per coin by 2046. He described this time as 'very special' for the network. Saylor noted this prediction represents a significant leap from his previous forecast in 2024, where he estimated Bitcoin could be worth $13 million by 2045.
Unexpected Positive Political Developments
Saylor attributes his bullish outlook to recent regulatory and adoption changes regarding Bitcoin. 'What has happened over the past 11 months has been extraordinary. The White House has embraced Bitcoin. This is an extraordinary development we didn’t anticipate,' he remarked. He also mentioned Donald Trump's return to the presidency which, according to Saylor, could alter the political landscape towards crypto acceptance.
Institutional Adoption and Strategy's Assets
Saylor emphasized the presence of three bills currently in progress in the U.S., including a stablecoin bill and the Bitcoin Act, indicating increasing institutional recognition of cryptocurrency. Saylor's company, Strategy, currently holds 592,100 Bitcoins, worth approximately $58 billion at the current price.
Michael Saylor's prediction of Bitcoin reaching $21 million underscores his confidence in the future of this cryptocurrency amid political shifts and institutional adoption. Time will tell how realistic these expectations will be.
