MoonPay, a well-known provider of crypto purchasing and selling services, has signed a multi-year strategic partnership with Trust Wallet to improve users' access to cryptocurrencies.
Terms of the Agreement
According to an official announcement on August 14, MoonPay has become the default provider for Trust Wallet's 'Buy Crypto' function for the next two years, starting with U.S. customers. This agreement deepens the relationship that began in 2020 when Trust Wallet first integrated MoonPay’s services.
Goals and Benefits of the Partnership
The main goal of the new agreement is to streamline transactions and expand access to cryptocurrencies globally. MoonPay's infrastructure supports over 190 countries, providing multiple local payment methods and fiat currencies. The integration will allow users to buy and sell crypto directly within the app.
MoonPay's Market Expansion
The deal with Trust Wallet follows a series of recent achievements by MoonPay, including a partnership with Mastercard to launch stablecoin payment cards, securing a BitLicense to operate in all 50 U.S. states, and expanding wallet integrations. The Trust Wallet integration is already live for U.S. customers and is expected to expand to additional markets.
The agreement between MoonPay and Trust Wallet marks an important step in the evolution of the crypto industry, providing more convenient options for users.
