Nearly $100M recovered from hacks in March: PeckShield

Nearly $100 million in digital assets stolen in March hacks has been recovered, according to data compiled by blockchain security firm PeckShield.

PeckShield reported that over 30 hacking incidents occurred last month, resulting in $187 million funds lost.

While the losses amounted to millions, 52.8% of the hacked funds were returned. $98.8 million in stolen digital assets were recovered last month.

The top five incidents in March involved Munchables, Curio, Prisma Finance, NFPrompt, and WOOFi. Most of the recovered funds were from the Munchables incident.

Blast creator Pacman announced that $97 million in crypto taken from the Munchables incident had been secured by Blast core contributors.

Additionally, Prisma Finance and WooFi might have a chance to recover their lost funds through different strategies.

The Curio smart contract on Ethereum, NFPrompt, and the WooFi DEX suffered significant losses due to hacking incidents in March.
