Bitcoin has set a new record in March 2024 by ending the seventh consecutive month with positive growth. The value of the cryptocurrency increased by 16.8% during the month, marking the first time in history such growth has been achieved. The price of Bitcoin reached a historical high of almost $74,000 during this period.
Following this record high, the price of Bitcoin experienced fluctuations, dropping to $61,000 in subsequent trading sessions before rising again to $70,000 per coin by the end of March. Currently, the price of Bitcoin hovers around $65,885 per coin with a market capitalization of $1.29 trillion according to Yahoo!Finance data.
Experts from the Santiment analytical platform attributed the rise in Bitcoin's price to the increased activity of large market players who engaged in buying the cryptocurrency after its price decline. Additionally, Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock, the world's largest investment company, holds a positive outlook on the long-term potential of Bitcoin, emphasizing the market's future liquidity and transparency.
