The film 'Everybody Loves Jenifa', released on Friday, has already set a new box office record, earning 206 million Naira in its opening weekend.

In its first days, the film grossed 45.22 million Naira, 30% more than Funke Akindele's previous release 'Tribe of Judah'. With 38,353 tickets sold during the opening weekend, it set a new record for highest-grossing opening weekend in Nollywood history.

After the film's premiere, many of her industry colleagues shared their views. Actor Odunlade Adekola expressed gratitude to the viewers and God for the support, while singer Folarin Falana (Falz) highlighted Funke's impact on the industry, underscoring her uniqueness.
