Nocturne Labs Closure Announcement

Nocturne Labs, a privacy protocol invested in by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, recently disclosed its decision to close down the company and gradually discontinue its operations. The company conveyed that withdrawals will be available until the end of the current month.

Nocturne Labs, a platform situated in the United States, aimed to facilitate anonymous trading for users within the Ethereum network. It allowed users to deposit and withdraw funds to their Nocturne accounts.

In October 2023, the platform secured $6 million in a seed funding round, with leading investments from Vitalik Buterin, Bain Capital Crypto, and Polychain Capital.
