At CES 2025, NVIDIA introduced its next-gen GeForce RTX 50 graphics card series, based on Blackwell architecture, which promises significant advancements in AI-powered graphics.

A New Era of AI Graphics

NVIDIA's focus on AI graphics marks a significant shift in gaming and content development approaches. The GeForce RTX 50 series promises breakthroughs in performance and visual realism.

RTX 5090 Specifications

The centerpiece of the new series is the GeForce RTX 5090, featuring 92 billion transistors and capable of 3,352 trillion operations per second. It doubles the performance of its predecessor, the RTX 4090, and supports DLSS 4 for enhanced frames and performance.

Realism and Availability

In addition to performance, NVIDIA is pushing realism with RTX Neural Shaders and RTX Neural Faces technologies, making lighting, shadows, and materials more lifelike in real-time. The RTX 5090 graphics cards will begin shipping on January 30, 2025, starting at $1,999, with laptops featuring this GPU series available in March.
