On September 9, 2025, Vietnam inaugurated the fifth Satoshi statue and blockchain gallery, organized by the Vietnam Blockchain and Digital Assets Association in collaboration with 1Matrix.
Launch of the Statue and Gallery
The opening ceremony featured representatives from key government agencies, including the National Assembly’s Economic Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Over 300 participants from Web3 communities nationwide were also present at the event.
Significance of the Satoshi Statue
According to Ms. Nguyen Van Hien, Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General of VBA, 'This is the fifth Satoshi statue in the world, symbolizing decentralization and the spirit of innovation.' Satoshi statues have also been installed in countries such as Hungary, Switzerland, El Salvador, and Japan.
Concept of the Blockchain Gallery
The Blockchain Gallery serves as a space where technology meets art. It recounts the journey of blockchain technology from its inception to its global breakthrough through artworks that combine oil painting techniques and artificial intelligence.
