Pi Network has published a report on the first 100 days of the open network, highlighting significant achievements and ecosystem growth.
User Growth and Network Nodes
Since the launch of the open network in February, Pi Network has attracted over three million new users, increasing the total number of participants to over 13 million. More than 400,000 nodes have been activated in the network, creating one of the most robust distributed infrastructures in the cryptocurrency space.
Success of the Domain Auction and Interface Upgrades
The .pi Domain Auction, held during PiFest 2025, saw participation from over 57,000 users and more than 123,000 active bids, with total active bids exceeding three million Pi tokens. The Ecosystem Interface upgrades improved developer access and user navigation.
Criticism and Future Steps
While Pi Network has shown significant growth and activity, concerns remain regarding the lack of major exchange listings, delays in KYC processing, and a limited number of mainnet-ready decentralized applications.
Pi Network continues to expand its ecosystem and actively engage with users despite the existing challenges and criticism.
